Dear sir/ma’am,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to inform that I am unable to your subject for maybe a few
days because of the recent passing of my beloved lola. Her loss has deeply affected me, I can’t focus on
my studies and other stuff and I am currently going through a period of mourning and grief.

I kindly request your understanding and support during this difficult time. I will make every effort to
catch up on missed assignments as soon as I am able to return to school.

I would greatly appreciate it po if you could provide me with any notes po about sa mga na discuss or
about our topic or discussion during my absence. This will enable me to stay up to date with the
curriculum and minimize any academic setbacks. I understand the importance of my education and will
do my best to ensure a smooth transition back into the school routine. I will keep you updated on my
progress and inform you of any changes in my situation.
