 About us:
Government College of Engineering and
Ceramic Technology (GCECT), formerly known
as College of Ceramic Technology (CCT), is a premier
government-funded academically
autonomous engineering Institute
in Kolkata, India. GCECT has already carved a
niche for itself in academic circuits and is gradually
becoming a well known name in amongst engineering
aspirants with its great placement and internship records
abroad as well as countless successful alumni of the college spread globally.

While academic excellence is intended to be unwavering at GCECT, we believe that

the importance of literary, cultural, and athletic ability is indelible to integrated
experience of an engineering institution. Aiming to enrich development, we be held
in the month of February. Following the huge success off previous Jagriti editions,
this year is sure to be worth taking your two doses of fun for, only to be enhanced by
your enthusiastic participation.

Starting with Rupankar’s show. Anjan Dutta,Somlata, Zephyrtone, and a slew of

other notable artist. To name a few, Jagriti has been performances by Fossils, Cactus,
Underground Authority, Fakira andBolpur Blues. Jagriti’s events and competitions
have received a positive response over the years. We, on the other hand, have made a
different plan by incorporating Tech-talks and E discussion Talks in
entrepreneurship As a youth festival, Jagriti has previously targeted the youth with
social initiatives such as a blood donation camp, eye-testing campaign, and
homoeopathic clinic. Jagriti makes it a priority to effect positive social change.

 Vision:
Jagriti is our flagship cultural event, originally named
Cera-fest, it was permanently impleted as a way to
foster the bonding amongst people from different
regions of the country.

Aim:
Jagriti's main aim is to forget the
monotonous routine of everyday life
for a few moments, to dive deep into
having a chance to relax and becoming
alive. Let us celebrate this event
with full vim and vigour.

This is an inter-college Fashion show competition.
Registration is open to any college group.
Time limit for each team is 10+2 minutes, inclusive of sound
check.
Marks will be deducted for exceeding the time limit.

This is an inter-college Dance competition. On-Spot

Solo - 3+1 (1min for stage setup)

Costume, makeup, props, stage setup has to be arranged by
participants
Changing rooms would be provided. Kindly take care of your
belongings.

This is an inter-college band competition. 1300/- per team
Time limit for each team will be 15+2 minutes, inclusive
of sound check.
Marks will be deducted for exceeding time limit.
Equipment provided will be: Drums, Adequate Microphones, Plug-
ins and sufficient sound requirements.
Bands will have to bring their own musical instruments. However,
programmed music is not allowed.
Rules and regulations can be later on changed by the organizers
as deemed fit.

This is a solo singing competition. registration fees

Registration is open to any singing enthusiast. individual

Time limit for each individual is 5+2 minutes, inclusive

of sound check.
Marks will be deducted for exceeding the time limit.
Adequate microphones and Plug-ins will be provided, however,
the individual will have to bring their own instruments.
Rules and regulations can be later on changed by the organizers
as deemed fit.

Who needs therapy when you can have a good laugh!

It is not just a comedy show; it's a therapy session you didn't know
you needed. Join us for a night of side-splitting comedy as we dive
into the chaos of adulting, relationships, and the absurdity of it
all. Mark your calendars, tag your comedy buddies, and let's make it
a night to remember!
