In this exhilarating experiment, participants will delve into the thrilling world of physics
through a relay race like no other. Strap in as teams embark on a journey to explore the
dynamic concepts of speed and acceleration while sprinting towards victory. Get ready to
ignite your curiosity and blast off into an unforgettable adventure where teamwork, precision,
and scientific discovery collide in the ultimate race against time. Are you prepared to unleash
your inner speedster and experience the thrill of Rocketing Relay? Let the adventure begin

Objective
To explore the concepts of speed and acceleration through a relay race, fostering teamwork
and understanding of fundamental physics principles.

Hypothesis
Predict the outcome you expects from running this experiment?

Materials
What are the materials needed for this activity?
Procedure
Step 1: Team Formation

Step 2: Designating Starting Point and Finish Line

2. Choose an open space for the relay race and mark a starting point and a finish line. Ensure
the distance between them is measurable, such as 100 meters.

Step 3: Setting Up Exchange Zones

3. Set up relay exchange zones along the track using cones or markers. Space them evenly
apart to allow for smooth transitions between runners.

Step 4: Preparing for the Race

4. Each member should be on their equal distance of designated place.

Step 5: Conducting the Relay Race

5. When ready, start the stopwatch or timer.

The first runner from each team sprints to the first exchange zone.

At the exchange zone, the baton (or any suitable object) is passed to the next runner.

The second runner continues sprinting to the next exchange zone, and so on, until the final
runner crosses the finish line.

Stop the stopwatch or timer when the final runner completes the race.

Step 6: Recording Data

10. Record the time it took for each runner (1, 2, 3, 4) from each team to complete their leg of
the race.

Results
Measure the distance covered by each runner during their leg of the race.

Use the formula: Speed = Distance / Time to calculate the speed of each runner.

Determine the initial velocity (usually 0 m/s) and final velocity of each runner to calculate
acceleration.

Use the formula: Acceleration = (Final Velocity - Initial Velocity) / Time to calculate the
acceleration of each runner.

Analysis
Analyze the recorded data and discuss the relationship between speed, acceleration, and
relay performance within each team and across different teams.

Conclusion
Conclude by summarizing the key learnings from the experiment and discussing any
insights gained about speed, acceleration, and teamwork.

I therefore conclude that...
