RE: File 131255

Dear Sir/Madam

I am unsure how to respond to a compliant that is full of half-truths and lies. I am not even sure what law
or statue I am being accused of not complying with.
All that I can see is that the tenant is unhappy. And nothing will make her happy.
We have offered to let her out of the lease.

They moved into a renovated 100 year old home.

There were some minor issues that we were in the process of addressing. She felt they were not being
addressed to her satisfaction and she complained to the city. The building inspector, inspected the
property and found a number of minor issues. All which have been resolved or are being resolved.

As far as the specifics of her compliant:

Floor in the kitchen: Was damaged by the tenant.
Carpets were cleaned
We NEVER tell anybody that the basement would not get wet. This is Wisconsin. It is always possible for
any basement to get wet. This is particularly true for a house as old as this. That statement is an out and
out lie
The building inspector did not make note of any mold.

Other issues:
-The condition report was not returned with in the 7days. Her stating that it was is another lie.
-Besides the damage to the floor the tenant broke the stairway Banister/Spindale.
-Tenant illegally plugged appliances into extension cords. All appliance must be plugged directly into an
outlet
-Tenant requested larger trash cans. This was approved as long as the tenant paid for them. Tenant is now
refusing to pay for them.

She has now told us that none of our maintenance people are allowed in the residence.

Sincerely
Patrick McVey
