Name: Angel Huentemil

Teacher: Daniela Rios

Good morning, my name is Angel Huentemil and lately I have a question with
everything regarding my employment contract that I would like to help me solve,
my question refers more than anything to the following: Can the employer
unilaterally change the start time of the daily workday?

Without further ado, I bid you farewell.

Good morning, with respect to the doubt expressed by email, I proceed to answer
this same so that all the doubts that have been presented can be discipated.

The employer may unilaterally change the start time of the daily working day
either by anticipating or postponing it by up to sixty minutes, provided that he
gives at least thirty days' notice and circumstances have occurred that affect the
entire process of the company or establishment, or any of its units or operational
groups (for example: scheduled electricity rationing due to an extended period of
drought).

The worker has thirty working days to complain about the measure to the Labor
Inspectorate, and resolved by the latter may appeal to the Labor Court within five
days.

I bid you farewell.
