- Introduce to students the reference question type in TOEFL and the different words type that can be
referred.
- Provide students with new vocabulary related to the topic being introduced in each reading
- Give students chance to practice and improve their reading comprehension skill.

- Effectively answer reference questions in TOEFL test.
- Use skimming to get the general idea more efficiently;
- Use scanning to acquire specific information to complete general comprehension questions;
