I. OBJECTIVE:
After a series of discussions, activities and reviews, the pupils are expected to get at
least 75% accuracy from the First Periodical Examination in Science 5.

use the properties of materials whether they are useful or harmful;
investigate changes that happen in materials under the following conditions:
2.1 presence or lack of oxygen; and 2.2 application of heat
recognize the importance of recycle, reduce, reuse, recover and repair in
waste management;
design a product out of local, recyclable solid and/ or liquid materials in
making useful products
