This project aims to delve into the overall operational performance of IKEA, identifying
the areas that need to be improved to optimize resource allocation thereby minimizing
waste and boosting productivity. The project will cover following matters:
Examine IKEA's market position and its effects on shop operations.
Examine retail sector trends and problems that impact IKEA's operations.
Identify the primary drivers that necessitate the need to optimize store operations.

A meeting on May 4, 2024, and an on-site visit to an IKEA shop in the first week
of May. The goal of the visit is to examine store operations, layout, and client flow
firsthand. This visit will provide useful insights into IKEA's retail operations and
customer experience.

Meeting on Microsoft Teams every Friday to allot tasks, progress of the part
assigned, and have a discussion for editing and everyone's consent of the subject
matter included.
Sending any useful information and updates like journals, news articles, news, etc.
in the WhatsApp group. If necessary, we have also included face-to-face
interaction after class on Monday for half an hour so that we can keep better track
of the project to be done.
Risks
IKEA provides limited accurate statistics and information.
The difficulty of examining complicated store operations in a given timeframe.
Conflicting demands from other projects or organizational priorities might draw
