“Campus Clean-up and


Beautification Project”

Project Proponents:

This project proposal is initiated by the Automotive class of Mariano Peralta National

High School, in collaboration with the school administration, teachers, and students.

The project will be implemented with the support and participation of the entire

school community.

Project Rationale:

A clean and aesthetically pleasing school environment plays a crucial role in

enhancing the learning experience and promoting a sense of pride among students.

This project aims to improve the overall cleanliness and appearance of our school

campus, creating a conducive and inspiring learning environment for students.

Additionally, it instills a sense of responsibility and environmental consciousness

among students, fostering sustainable practices within the school community.

Project Objectives:

 To clean and beautify the school campus, including classrooms, corridors,

outdoor spaces, and common areas.

 To raise awareness among students about the importance of cleanliness,

hygiene, and environmental conservation.

 To encourage active student participation and engagement in maintaining a

clean and beautiful school environment.


 To promote a sense of ownership and pride among students in their school

surroundings.

 To foster a sustainable mindset and promote eco-friendly practices within the

school community.

Project Description:

 Conduct an initial assessment of the school campus to identify areas requiring

cleaning, maintenance, and beautification.

 Organize a series of clean-up and beautification activities, involving students,

teachers, and volunteers.

 Assign specific tasks to different groups, such as cleaning classrooms,

organizing library shelves, planting flowers in designated areas, painting

murals, and creating artwork to decorate common spaces.

 Conduct awareness campaigns and workshops on cleanliness, waste

management, recycling, and sustainable practices.

 Integrate environmental education into the curriculum, incorporating topics on

cleanliness, environmental conservation, and responsible waste disposal.

 Establish a maintenance plan for ongoing cleanliness and upkeep of the

campus, including regular cleaning schedules and waste management

initiatives.
Project Duration:

The project will be implemented over a short duration of two weeks, starting from

May 29, 2023 to June 09, 2023. This timeframe allows for focused and intensive

efforts to clean and beautify the campus within a limited time frame.

Target Beneficiaries:

The primary beneficiaries of this project are the students and teachers of Mariano

Peralta National high School. By creating a clean and aesthetically pleasing learning

environment, the project benefits the entire school community, enhancing the

educational experience and fostering a sense of pride and ownership among

students.

Proposed Budget:

The proposed budget for this project is P25,000.00. The budget will cover expenses

related to cleaning materials, gardening supplies, art materials, awareness campaign

materials, and any additional resources required for the clean-up and beautification

activities. Efforts will be made to source materials from sustainable and cost-

effective options.
Monitoring and Evaluation:

Monitoring and evaluation will be conducted throughout the project to ensure the

achievement of objectives. This will include regular assessments of the cleanliness

and appearance of the campus, student feedback on the impact of the project, and

observation of sustainable practices adopted by the school community. The project

team will also document the activities through photographs and student testimonials.

A final evaluation report will be prepared to assess the success of the project and

identify areas for improvement in future initiatives.
