S57212AMP Campus & in-building directional antennas
DirectLink is a series of wall and mast mount directional antennas that has been designed to meet the most demanding
needs of the contemporary wireless environment. DirectLink's attractive, UV resistant housings and mounts allow the
CONTEMPORARY PATCH antennas to be mounted anywhere in the campus or in-building environment. The antennas offer very precise and
controllable pattern characteristics in frequencies starting with the 1710 MHz DCS band and continuing through the
¥ Indoor / outdoor 5.725 GHz ISM band. All popular contemporary wireless system applications are covered with gain characteristics
¥ Attractive styling varying with frequency.
¥ Articulating
All antennas in the series may be wall or mast mounted and all are available with a variety of flush and articulating
¥ Wall mountable mounts. Flush mounts allow the antenna to hug the wall for minimal visual impact. There are two available articulating
mounts that allow the pattern to be directed while still maintaining minimal visual impact.
E-Plane Standard antennas come with either TNC, SMA or N female connectors and an integrated coaxial pigtail. Other
H-Plane
connector and pigtail combinations are available upon request.

Campus & in-building omnidirectional antennas
Squint omnidirectional antennas offer a unique solution to the low power characteristics of RF
Distribution Systems, microcells and picocells. Squint antennas provide omnidirectional azimuth plane
pattern characteristics while focusing energy where it is most desired for an in-building or campus-
wide coverage environment. The unique pattern characteristics of the Squint Series also help mitigate the
kinds of multipath problems that often confront systems designed to provide in-building or campus-wide coverage.
SQ1853P
Squint antennas come in two sizes and in frequencies from 806 MHz to 5.875 GHz.
They are offered with ceiling mount hardware and vertical column mount hardware
for system infrastructure applications as well as hardware for mounting to vending 0¼

Cushcraft's integrated diversity antenna designs feature two separate 2 dBi omnidirectional radiating elements
sharing a common backplane and enclosure. The radiating elements are terminated with coaxial pigtails and
mmcx connectors that exit the backplane of the antenna. Hence, they can interface with an access point that has
been mounted in the plenum above the ceiling if so desired. The complete package dimensions are 5.25" X
S2402DS
2.75" X .75". Both coax length, connector type and package aesthetics can be modified to meet customer
requirements. Offices, HealthCare facilities, educational or industrial campuses and shopping malls are
just a few of the more common applications for these antenna designs.

ten element models are available.
Increase Your Gain
You can increase your antenna
system gain by doubling the
number of identical antennas used.
PLC4510 For example, if you designed a
system that required more gain
than is available with one of our
450 MHz antennas (the PLC-4510
with 11.1 dBd gain), you could
use two of them fed in parallel.
With proper spacing between
antennas, the result would be
almost double the gain (a 3 dBd
increase to 14 dBd).

Nine field tunable models cover the 25-108 MHz frequency ranges with 2 dB gain.
These half-wave end-fed antennas assure better omnidirectional coverage and maximum
radiated RF output.
Their vertical element telescopes from 1 inch (2.54 cm) at the base to 1/2 inch (1.27
cm) seamless tubing at the top. The adjustable element sections are secured with full
compression stainless steel clamps. Rugged Ringos can be tower top or side mounted,
and feature a direct DC ground which reduces static buildup and lightning exposure.

These are rugged antennas for your most difficult applications. We have the Ringo
you need in three 25-50 MHz, 2 dB gain, field tunable models.
These half-wave end-fed antennas have a low radiation angle for better omnidirectional
coverage and a capacitive stub and external ring matching system that assures maximum
RF output. The base section is double thickness seamless tubing. Adjustable elements
are secured with full compression stainless steel clamps. Teflon¨ feed insulators make
Ringos ideal for high-power paging and other continuous duty applications. They can
be tower top or side mounted.

The Cushcraft LAC-4 series of lightning arresters are designed to protect radio equipment from static electricity and
lightning induced surges that travel on coaxial transmission lines. The LAC-4 protects your equipment from surges
up to 5,000 Amperes.
The Cushcraft LAC-4 is superior to other available devices because it presents a constant impedance to your transmission
line. Mechanically, the LAC-4 has been designed to last. All of the mechanical connections are positively secured.
The gas discharge tube is easily changed by the user if necessary.

In designing the ultimate medium run base station cable, we began with a different set of goals. The center
conductor is solid copper for the same reasons; it is low loss and aids in solid connection of crimp-on connectors.
Next, we added a layer of foam polyethylene whose velocity of propagation is 89% that of air. This fact adds
significantly to the low loss characteristics of the cable but it prevents the migration of water through the dielectric.
Next, we add a layer of foil and a 95% coverage braid. The jacket is black PVC which withstands sunlight and
weathering for many years.
