Critical feminist theory (CFT) emerged in the 1970s as a response to the

perceived limitations of traditional feminist theory, which was seen as

adequately address the intersectionality of race, class, and gender, too
focused on the experiences of white, middle-class women

- The first Feminist Theory that emerged in 1970’s was just focuses sa mga
white, or kanang mga dato nga mga women, it didn’t tacles a broad topic
when it comes to Feminism but then again nag published napud ug Critical
Feminist Theory to tacle about the broad topic of Feminism, pointing about the
structures, ideologies and practice that shows the oppresion and
discrimination againts women.

- In this topic, it will be tackle about the inequality that Female experiencing in
society and also patriculary the inequality that has been being act by men
againts women.

-As I said Critical Feminist tackles about more broad topics when it comes to
feminism and also the interconnectivity of Gender, race, and class that
mainstream failed to discussed.

-Female in the past are being called commodity, a basic needs na mailisan,
mabaligya ig human gamit. Just like a land and or money. Land in esscence
na mapalit unya kung makakita nag lain, ibaligya. Money in escence na
interchangeable, mahatag nimos lain then mahatag rasad nimo.

Examples of Critical Feminist Theory are

Gender Pay Gap.

Actually gikan jud ni siya sa Patriarchy era where in the males are the ones
who have the strength and knowledge to work for their family and female
being potrayed just being a house wife, doing laundries, mang hugas and etc.
From that culture, from that practice, natatak nas mga utok sa mga tao nga
when it comes to industrial jobs or any jobs that needs to have a big
commitment in every aspect, mas kamao ang mga lalaki kesa sa mga babae
that’s why ang mga babae are only engaging sa mga trabaho nga nag potray
ug like a house hold chores nga mas less ang sahod kesa sa mga industrial
nga trabaho which has a higher nga sahod.

Sexual Harrassment and Assault

There are a lot of women being harrased in their work place, there some
cases even their bosses are harrasing them and from that we can already see
that inequality because of men imposing much power than women. That’s
why ang uban babae kay di nalang sila ganahan mo trabaho ug mag salig
nalang kay para iwas sa mga harrassment outside their house. In short
trauma response that is a response to a mentality problems.
Feminization in Poverty.

From the two examples prior with this example. The first one is the Gender
Pay Gap no which tacles about the inequality to female when it comes to
having a big jobs with big salaries and next is sexual harrassment and assault
na maka create ug trauma response that makes some women afraid to work
anymore, from that two examples, we can conclude already that they are the
cause of Feminization in Poverty. Less salaries, high expenses equals to
poverty, sexual harrasment and assault, and trauma response that halt
women to work outside their house is also equals to poverty.

Being discrimanated in the industry decent job because they’ve been entitled
as a commodities, works in house to be just a mother to the children,
dishwashing, making laundry and especially just for the pleasure of men, that
made the ideology also to women that they are just going to be accepted fully
if that are the works they’ll just going to do, leading to prostitution or engaging
in drugs due to poverty.

In conclusion, Basically Critical Feminist Theory is all about the structures,

ideologies and practices that shows the oppression and discrimination againts
the women. Actually the opression and discrimination againts women’s rights
came from Patriarchy which means, only men can lead a house, lead a town,
and tribes.
