CEMENTITIOUS CAPILLARY/CRYSTALLINE WATERPROOFING

SEALPROOF CEMENTITIOUS CRYSTALLIZATION WATERPROOFING (CW) is a crystalline

waterproofing formulation of selected blends of cement, fine quartz sand and active chemical constituents
providing a lasting imperviousness to water. In the presence of moisture, the active chemicals in
SEALPROOF CW penetrate concrete and reacts chemically with free lime to produce insoluble crystals. This
product feature is permanently active. The crystalline growth reduces porosity by blocking capillaries and
filling hairline non-structural cracks caused by shrinkage or expansion. In the presence of moisture,
SEALPROOF CW continuously forms crystals.

AREAS OF APPLICATION
SEALPROOF CW can be applied on both new and old structures either on the water retaining side or
on the negative side.

SEALPROOF CW is recommended for the following typical applications:

 water treatment and sewage structures
 basement walls
 irrigation tunnels
 supporting walls and columns
 tunnels, silos, water tanks
 foundation slabs inside
 underground garages

How to Use

Surface Preparation Surface must be thoroughly clean and free from other contaminants.
Slightly damp the surface prior to application of Sealproof Cementitious
Crystallization Waterproofing

Mixing Mix 1 part clean water to 3 parts powder. Mix thoroughly with a slow
speed drill equipped with a paddle.

Application Apply two coats Sealproof Cementitious Crystallization Waterproofing by

brush or roller. Apply first coating veritically and the second coating
horizontally to fill up voids that was not sealed during the first coating.
Spray clean water to the applied surface to facilitate the curing of
Sealproof Cementitious Crystallization Waterproofing. Allow to cure for 3-
7 days.

Brush Ensure that all cavities in the substrate are filled.

Spray Application Sealproof CW Can be applied with a suitable fine mortar spraying
device. For maximum spray pattern it should be possible to adjust
of product as well as air pressure and volume. The nozzle diameter
should be approx. 4mm.

Curing Keep damp for at least 3-5 days and provide suitable protection
against protection against extreme weather conditions.
