Open now: Traversing The Covid Gap Grants 2021

The pandemic continues to have a fundamental impact on the University sector,

students and future research outcomes.

The Antarctic Science Foundation has identified PhD scholars as particularly

vulnerable to financial hardship at this time.

We are concerned by the high percentage of students whose potentially productive

careers are at risk as they consider dropping out of their PhD studies due to
financial stress.

We recognise research excellence in Antarctic science relies on this generation of

researchers.

The Antarctic Science Foundation is offering a limited number of grants of up to

$5,000 to future Antarctic research leaders to assist them in completing their PhD.

Applications are now open.
