Thrust Reverser Component
Thrust Reverser (T/R) actuators: Four Nos.
- Two Synchronized Locking Feedback Actuators (SLFA)
at 2 and 10 o'clock,
- one Synchronized Manual Locking Actuator (SMLA)
at 5 o'clock,
- one Synchronized Non-Locking Actuator (SNLA)
at 7 o'clock.
A primary lock proximity sensor and a secondary lock
proximity sensor: Installed on each SLFA.
The Isolation Control Unit (ICU): at 12 o'clock under the
pylon.
The hydraulic filter assembly: Upstream of the ICU at 12
o'clock.
The Direction Control Unit (DCU): at 11 o'clock.

A Solenoid
1) Solenoid Energized:
Directional Valve: Open:
Hydraulic pressure from ICU is
directed to the Deploy side of
Actuators.
2) Solenoid De-energized:
Directional Valve: Close:
Hydraulic pressure from ICU is
directed to the Stow side of
Actuators.
