Sourcing and develop the supplier in globalised region
Working as a procurement Engineer for Albion marine solutions - India and canada office
Floating RFQ to globalised vendor & Identify suitable supplier for New project development
Shortlist the vendor based on QCD approach and involving cost negotiation
Qualify a new vendor based on supplier assessment
Responsible for supplier finalization and Release LOI
Interaction with stakeholders and prepare for client proposal
Release the purchase order to the finalized vendor
Responsible for close the supplier contract in both payment and delivery terms
Follow - up on the milestones of manufacturing, assure that they are understood and met by supplier
Act as project buyer for material follow up and Ensure the client requirement and needs
To clear the supplier payment after the project completion and interacts with finance team to release for the same
Create supplier performance ratings based on customer satisfaction and on time material delivery
Category buyer for valves, Marine Cables, Pipes,C - class items, electrical panel, indirect procurement and other
electronics used in Marine sector
Coordinate with manager to reduce material cost control
Coordinate with manager to create a procurement budget and profit margin analysis for every project
End to end follow up with freight forwarder to Ensure that the material delivery to client
Implement multi sourcing concept to reduce the single depend vendor in each commodity
