1950 to the present.Overall, this coastal area has witnessed relatively extensive modifications and
transformations, including the addition of a car park, the extension of a swimming pool, and the erection of

As is illustrated in the upper part of the area, a cityward road that only went as far as the car park has been
extended southward, encircling the area and leading to the lighthouse. While the new car park has been
constructed, replacing the children’s playground area, dining tables and pavilion have remained intact /
maintained the status quo.
Turning to the lower part of the area, on the western side of the beachfront, new buildings for a two-story
spacious restaurant and surf club have been erected in the formerly vacant location. The 50m pool which
was adjacent to them these newly-erected recreational facilities has been enlarged by twice its previous
length of 25m in 1950. To the east, an additional surf club has been constructed and accompanied between
the lighthouse and pre-existing 25m pool, whose positions and sizes (1) have not altered.
