POSITION Sales Lead Generation Executive

JOB LOCATION Nairobi | Kenya


As a Sales Lead Generation Executive, the purpose of the role is to support the
SALES TEAM to help them set up calls and meetings with Prospects from a
POSITION
provided target list of companies. The Sales Lead Gen Executive will be cold

calling and emailing Prospects, mainly IT Managers, IT Directors or IT
Procurement, in order to achieve the required monthly meetings.
 Excellent English communication (written and verbal), and good
presentation / discussion skills over the phone.
 Strong HUNTER mentality and experience with proven success in new client
acquisition, preferably in an IT industry.
 Must have strong convincing skills to be able to convince prospects to agree to
meetings.
 Strong, B2B, Telemarketing or Lead generation experience ideally gained
within a technology environment
 Minimum 2 years of experience actively calling Prospective clients and
setting up appointments (calls or Face to Face Meetings).
 Strongly Preferred experience calling IT Managers, IT Directors, or IT
REQUIRED SKILLS
Procurement.
& EXPERIENCE
 Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills in order to ensure timely
follow-ups.
 Strong relationship building skills & Self-starter who works well
independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
 Need someone who is driven by success and getting closures and attaining
goals.
 Ability to effectively implement sales strategies to gain new relationships,
maintain and grow existing relationships to achieve meeting goals.
 Setting up meetings (Virtual / Physical) for the Sales Team.
 Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing or Communications or Sales
curriculum preferred.

 Must set up at least 10-15 new qualified appointments per Week.


 Maintain and update contact database daily. Coordinate with Management &
BDM to provide leads and opportunities.
 Must send daily 50 – 75 emails to Prospects and make 50 - 75 calls per day.
SPECIFIC DUTIES /  Assist scheduling virtual or face to face meetings for the Sales Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES  Must do research on target accounts using sources such as LinkedIn & other
Social Media platforms to come up with names and phone #s of relevant
people to call within the target accounts.
 Responsible for performing follow-up with prospects on a regular basis.
 Must maintain regular contact with prospects via email or telephone.
