day filled with hope and excitement. It was a perfect morning as the

On the second day of Brigada Eskwela 2023 at San Ra-
fael Elementary School, the spirit of community en-
gagement continued to flourish. Volunteers arrived
with enthusiasm and dedication, ready to tackle the
next phase of the school's transformation: cleaning the
ground with brass cutters. Day 2 was all about ensuring
a safe and welcoming environment for students to
learn and play. The progress made on Day 2 was evi-
dent as the school grounds gradually transformed into
a neat and organized space. The removal of debris and
undergrowth not only improved the aesthetics but also
enhanced the safety of the environment. Volunteers
continued to take breaks throughout the day, during
which they were provided with nourishing meals and
beverages. These breaks served as moments of rest and
rejuvenation, allowing volunteers to recharge.

As the day came to a close, the sense
of accomplishment was tangible. The
once cluttered and potentially hazard-
ous areas had been cleared, setting the
stage for a safer and more enjoyable
school experience for students.

The third day of Brigada Eskwela 2023 at [San Rafael
Elementary School was marked by an inspiring act of
leadership and dedication. Ma'am Jackilyn A. Lozano, a
beloved teacher at the school, set a remarkable exam-
ple for her colleagues, pupils, and the entire community
by taking the initiative to clean the area around her
classroom, focusing on pulling weeds.

On the designated day, parents gathered at the
school premises, ready to take on the task at hand.
The morning began with a brief orientation on
safety measures and guidelines for grass cutting.
The designated areas for grade 3 and grade 4 were
clearly marked.

Parents, armed with lawn mowers and trimmers,


set to work cutting the overgrown grass around
the classrooms. It was heartening to
see parents working alongside each
other, sharing stories, and collabo-
rating with a shared goal in mind.
Some parents even brought snacks
and refreshments, fostering a sense of
camaraderie.

DAY 5
The spirit of community involvement and collabora-
tion continued to thrive during Day 5 of Brigada
Eskwela. A significant highlight of the day was the
enthusiastic participation of Barangay Kagawad Rizal
P. Subia Jr., a respected member of our local com-
munity, who joined our efforts in grass cutting using
the grass cutter. The day started with the buzz of
excitement as Barangay Kagawad Rizal P. Subia Jr., a
dedicated public servant known for his unwavering
commitment to community development, arrived at
our school. His presence injected renewed energy
into our volunteer team. After a brief orientation and
safety guidelines, Kagawad Subia donned protective
gear and took hold of a grass cutter. He joined the
parents and volunteers who had been diligently
working to trim the overgrown grass around our
school. It was inspiring to see a local leader actively
participating and setting an example for the com-
munity. Throughout the day, Kagawad Subia's in-
volvement not only contributed to the physical
transformation of our school but also symbolized the strong bond between local leadership and commu-
nity initiatives. His participation highlighted the importance of collective efforts in creating a better edu-
cational environment.
Day 6 of Brigada Eskwela 2023 was a day of cele-
bration and recognition. It marked the culmination
of a week-long endeavor that brought together
stakeholders, volunteers, parents, and community
members to prepare our school for the upcoming
academic year. On this day, we gathered to honor
and award certificates to those who had contribut-
ed their time and effort to make this event a re-
sounding

The program began with a warm welcome and


words of gratitude from our school principal, who
emphasized the importance of community engage-
ment in shaping the educational experience. The
School Head highlighted how Brigada Eskwela not
only beautified the school but also strengthened
bonds within the community.

Certificates of Appreciation were then presented


to the following categories of individuals and
groups: success.

As certificates were awarded, heartfelt


applause filled the auditorium, echoing
the collective pride and appreciation for
the selfless contributions of all involved.
The ceremony also featured speeches
from volunteers who shared their person-
al experiences and expressed gratitude
for the opportunity to give back to the
community and school they cherished.
The awarding ceremony on Day 6 served
as a fitting conclusion to Brigada Eskwela
2023. It was a day to celebrate not only
the physical transformation of our school
but also the spirit of community, unity,
and shared responsibility. The event un-
derscored the idea that when stakehold-
ers, volunteers, and the community come
together, the possibilities for positive
