AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6, SECTION 7, AND SECTION 110F ORDINANCE
NO. 2017-09, ``AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE FRANCHISE AND OPERATION OF
MOTORIZED TRICYCLES IN SANCHEZ MIRA, CAGAYAN".

Be it orda`Ined by the loth Council of the Sangguniang Bayan of Sanchez Mira

herein assembled that:

Section 6, Section 7, and Section 11 of Ordinance No, 2017-09, "An C)rdinance

regulating the franchise and operation of motorized tricycles in Sanchez Mira,
Cagayan" shall be amended as follows:

SECTION 6. DURATION OF FRANCHISE, A franchis5 fc]r a motorized tricycle-for-hire is valid

for two (2) years, renewable on or before the anniversary date. Unrenewed franchise
three (3) months after the expiry date will be automatically cancelled.

Franchisee whose franchise was cancelled may still avail himself of another franchise
provided he has complied with the follc]wing:

1. Have paid all penalties and unpaid financial obligations relative to his
franchise.
2. Have paid One Thousancl Pesos (PHP 1,000.00) other than the fees imposed
under Section 7 of Ordinance No. 2017-09.

SECTION 7. IMPOSITION OF FEES.

a. All applicants under this ordinance shall pay the following fees:
I. Application fee PHP300_._0_0_

2. franchise fee for every unit PHP 600.00

3. Renewal fee for every unit PHP 600.00
4. Supervision/Inspection fee per unit PHP 100,00

5. Confirmatictn fee per unit EHEJun

For renewal of motor registration with LTC)
6. Required sticker perunit PHP 100.00
7. Specific franc:hiss fee for utility motorized tricycle PHP 600.00
8. MunicipalLicense (MTOP) PHP 1000.00

b. A surcharge of 25% of the franchise fee shall be collected from an operator with an
expired franchise who applies for renewal.

SECTION 11. Tric:ycle being operated without up-dated MTOP shall be impc>unded and
it will only be released after the operator/franchisee shall have paid Five Hundred Pesos
(PHP500.00) as its penalty.

Other ordinances inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
