Dear Parents,
Thank you very much for all your appreciation, support, and interest shown in guiding your children
throughout the last academic year.
As informed earlier in the closure meeting, we now would like to introduce the Open Door- Mastery
Learning Curriculum for Std 5. This program is for all the students, and it helps in enhancing the
conceptual understanding of different concepts in subjects like Math and Science. It has a unique
way of assessment. This assessment will be conducted offline for both Math and Science subjects.
The student will have to solve a set of 20 MCQ questions for each of the subjects, based on the
topics announced by the teachers.
There will be 4 cycles in a year, each consisting of 2 assessments of the same difficulty level. Results
of all the assessments will be declared as and when the assessments are done. Students who qualify
as per the cut-off marks in all four cycles in both the subjects will appear for a Mastery level at the
end of the year.
Parents can check the assessment results on the Open-Door website as soon as it is published. Very
soon the Username and password will be shared with all the parents through Top School. Assessment
for Math and Science will be done on two different days. The tentative dates for assessment are
shared in the planner.
