1.1 PURPOSE

The purpose of this document is to describe the Health, Safety & Environmental Management
System to be implemented on site and therefore, to outline the main measures to be taken by
CONTRACTOR in order to prevent human injuries, property and environmental damage
during Construction up to project completion of the units and facilities under the scope of the
General Maintenance Services for Project.

This document is issued in compliance with the Schedule “D” and all related and applicable
COMPANY requirements included in it & Standards and National Law.

CONTRACTOR Site Safety Program as a full reference of their respective HSE Plan, that
should be reviewed by Loss Prevention Department and approved by the SAPO before any job
commence on the site.

This document neither abrogates nor modifies the contractual agreements between the
COMPANY and CONTRACTOR but provides the mechanism for carrying out the normal
working relationship between the parties during the Project execution

1.2 SCOPE

This document is applicable to all activities performed by CONTRACTOR, as well as

Suppliers and Vendors who need to enter the site to perform any activity in the Project during
any of the following phases of the Contract executed by CONTRACTOR:

General Maintenance Services, The nature of the work comprises of the miscellaneous civil
works such as excavation, backfilling, compaction, paving, installation of temporary
containment walls, road signs, guardrails, fencing, concrete WORK dewatering, Structural and
Non-structural Surface Preparation and Coating, Structural and Non-structural Fabricated
Repair and/or Replacement, Pipeline Repair, Pipe Removal, Dewatering, Electrical,
Instrumentation and Mechanical Repair and/or Replacement, pipe and spool hydro-testing, and
other miscellaneous maintenance services, All requirements described herein are fully
compliance to every activity performed by CONTRACTORs.
