PHILIPPINES IN A NUTSHELL
(Art and Reality)

Poverty has been one of the Philippines' key challenges for decades. Poverty is unjust,
unethical, and harmful, as we all know. Poverty in the Philippines is a natural
consequence of the country's fast population expansion. Many families are driven to
occupy public and private lands without the legal authority to do so because of poverty.
Because this isn't their territory, it's prone to overcrowding. The environment becomes
filthy as a result of overpopulation, which increases the risk of illness spreading. Their
dwellings are also close to/connected to one another, making it easier for fire to spread
and making it difficult for fire fighters to extinguish the flames due to the narrow roadways
connecting these residences. The Philippines should end poverty because its citizens are
entitled to it. Although Filipinos sincerely desire to end poverty, they must also understand
that poverty will never leave the Philippines if Filipinos won’t also make an action,
particularly in light of the COVID-19 situation. The only thing Filipinos need to do is work
together to end poverty in the Philippines.
