200 HOURS MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST

9 Inspect and wipe down the generator.
10 Check electrical connections for evidence of looseness or overheating
Check radiator hoses for wear and cracks. Plan for replacement if

necessary
12 Inspect the annunciator panel for proper operation
After unit has operated for 50 minutes, log the operation to show at least
the following information: engine and generator speed in R.P.M.,
13
voltage, amperes, frequency, power factor, engine temperatures,
engine oil
pressure, hour meter readings
14 Inspect safety devices
15 Test safety shut-off controls
16 Measure and record stator winding temperature
Measure and record bearing temperature check charging system for
17
proper operation.
18 Check battery electrolyte level
Determine specific gravity of starting batteries. Add distilled water if
19 necessary. Clean terminals. Set charge rate after generator has been
operated.
20 Note any exhaust, oil, coolant, or fuel leakage. Plan for correction
21 Cool down and stop the unit.
Note condition indicators for air and fuel filters. Clean or change filters if
22
installed gages or operating conditions show necessity
23 Drain the exhaust condensate trap

Open covers and complete CM-0002 (infrared testing) on all conductors
and connections. Note: For the test to be effective unit needs to be
29 loaded to at least 40% of full load current. Correct identified
deficiencies while
unit is de-energized. (Perform with unit running.) Check charging system
for proper operation.
Determine specific gravity of starting batteries. Add distilled water if
30 necessary. Clean terminals. Set charge rate after generator has been
operated
