CANCER MADE HER STRONGER

BREAST CANCER
At the young age of 27 Dhensy Q. Chaneco was diagnosed with Breast Cancer Stage 2A
and Bone Metastases. Eventually after feeling backpain, headache and joint pains she got
the diagnosis. To treat her illness Dhensy took Bone therapy, letrosole, b complex, and
caltrate. The medication did help her to cure her illness, by bone restoration and
weakening cancer cells, but it did have side effects. Some of the side effects are headaches,
nausea, fever, mood swings, lost of appetite. Furthermore she experienced under arm pain,
breast lumps, and paralysis. Though she had these side effects Dhensy was determined to
aid her illness. After a long wait of 2-5 years she finally recovered.

“Life is really too short to be unhappy. Cancer made me realize that I am stronger than
what I think. So, instead of being sad, just use your time in looking at the brighter side
of life. This, too, shall pass. God is always with us.”
