PROGRAMMES COORDINATOR MARONDERA RUSIKE ZONE, MR &MRS DEACONESS

MANGWENDE

First and foremost I give thanks to Pastors Chari for being able to swallow their pride and be
humble enough to assign you to enquire some knowledge from our zone. They have challenged
me. May God bless them and fulfill their vision an expectations. I also thank my pastors who
appointed me and mentored me in all areas of your enquiry. They are working tirelessly to
produce better leaders. What I am giving you is not the best but they can just season your relish
for it to be audible.
In response to your requests I will just give you a gist of how we run our zone then you select
what can be applicable at your zone.

Programmes coordinator is an all rounder of all actives at a zone.He\she has to be initiative,


active and prayerful.It doesn't mean that one should lead all departments or to be everywhere
but duty delication can enhance good results therefore delegation is accampanied by close
monitoring/follow-ups and supervision.

Whatever you do at a zone should sort approval from ur pastors since they the overseers. of all
zonal activities.Programmes coordinator has to be accepted for the smooth running of the
activities.Your relationship with church members determines also positive responses to any
form of call for example call partnership in any form ,there has to be a good response.Heartfelt
inodaidzira mari dzakawanda and your members should give willingly if possible be part of
those who partner or take a lead yourself.
PASTORS' WELFARE

The advantage that I have is that our pastors surpused the level of being just pastors or
Sherpherds.There more of parents to every one.They were able to build strong spiritual and
social relationships with their congregants.We address them as MOM and DADY this became an
advantage to me on my coordinations duties
PASTORS ALLOWANCES
For pastors allowances we took long time overlooking on it though we would provide pantry
items. To mobilise pastors allowances i identified capability of individual members,compiled a
list then categorised them e.g those who are able to contribute usd $10,$7,$5 or $2 per month
amounting $250 USD .Supursing the target is an advantage since it covers up for those who are
not consistence.Each catergory shld have a WhatsApp platform so that you can encourage
them to pay when towards the cut of date. Encourage them to do part payments during the
course of the month. On every platform add the admin team who will be in enlisting those who
will have paid .This instills a spirit of competition among your partners .
MISSION HOUSE PANTRY
Make a list of all basic commodities which includes groceries, toiletries and relish quantify
them then distribute them amongst your members depending on the affordability of each.e.g
cooking oil 15l;rice 16kg flour 15kg; coffee ;drink10l;tea bags coffee;fresh milk ;baths soaps
(geisha 6)(dettol5);Royco( 10 sachets); two crates eggs ; l pocket potatoes, family size
Vaseline ;vegetables;(variety), 2kg salt ;2packets candles ( if necessary) spaghetti/macaroni;
popcons ;chicken/beef pork; upfu ;hapic ,tissues , handy andy and vim .(Mafuta a mhamha na
daddy you should know them and include them on your list. )
Distribution of listed items can be done at church (when not on lockdown) or just in box if u
know their affordability. Another method is to send your list so that they can select what they
can afford to buy .At our zone I used to have a partner for cooking oil as a wholel, rice for
another one and flour for another family. I ended up just reminding them when to bring and
they were very reliable. I pray that God provides you with great partners for the mission house
pantry .Set a pantry Sunday, be consistant for instances first Sunday of the month This allows
most of your members to get a chance to raise money or to get their salaries.

There are some whom you can engage through calling them .Try to convince them ,justify why
it is important to partner with man and woman of God .You can as well identity outstanding
partners( vanopa zvakapfurikidza) then refer them to your pastors so that they can be prayed
for wider financial doors. Its wiser to gather the items at one place then you ferry them on the
pantry day arrange the items according to type ,take a photo and forward it so that they can
forward the same picture to Apostle and pastor C .

On mobilisation of food items if your zone has active departments or home groups some items
can be contributed through those channels e.g 1 chicken per home group 2l Mazowe, 2 l cooking
oil, etc There are some members who may fail to cooperate or participate ,don't worry they will
join others later just pray for the interventin of the holy ghost .

Its also important to take note of your pastors ' birthdays, Annivesary ,e.t.c.This can be done by
individuals or in teams (mukaitawo iri gochigochi zvakapinda kunaka). Our pastors need to feel
loved and accepted . Buy them clothes as individuals or departments , If you can support them
In times of berievement the better. .
SERVICE COORDINATION
At our zone we indentified members who can be coached or !drilled to make presentations or
coordinate services confidently before the congregation who are familiar with the culture and
jargon of Heartfelt international Ministries.Coordinators can selected from ladies, men , pioneers
or whoever has qualities of public speaking however , reputation and rapoo no both community
and at church are key.Suppose we select 20 members to be service coordinators, there can be a
short training that equips them with grooming, coordinating skills and other related skills.

On the training in question or on a separate day other department members together with their
leaders can be trained too.. Every serving member needs some orientation and staff development
sessions even twice in a year
A typical of a Sunday service programme will be pasted at the end of this write up .The easiest
will be to identify a company of graphics that prepares and prints a programme for every
Sunday service which will be given to the service coordinator, one leading declarations, your
pastor's, PC and if possible any other key people like other pastors at your zone.I suggest that
you send a soft copy of the forthcoming service 4-5 days earlier to your pastors for approval
then forward them to those who will be presenting any part of the service. Check also with the
one leading declarations whether he/ she has a declaration book. If not, you can forward a soft
copy to that presenter.

PREPARATION FOR All SERVICE(BREAKTHROUGH OR SUNDAY SERVICE)

This exercise needs people who are passionate to serve in the house of the lord these are like
sanctuary keepers ,ushers ,media team ,hospitality ,holy communion team ,worship team and
protocol and members of intercession .These go to the sanctuary far earlier than all others .Their
contribution is important to the success of the service. If possible you as P.C .should go early to
church so that you assess the readiness of the congregation for the service. This enables you to
have time to check the toilet's (cleaningness and toiletriess ) ,sitting arrangements, holy
communion table to be set early and distribution of printed programmes. Hospitality's
department should provide mint crystal sweets and mineral water your pastors .

P.C. ,you are the one who is responsible for the layout of the programme. It will be fair to give
coordinator enough time to prepare a minimum of four days to prepare for the coordination of
the service Sent them a soft copy of the programme so that they practice using the rightful
programme .Those who lead declarations send them a soft copy of declaration book Kindly
remind those taking part in the coordination service a day before lest they forget or delay coming
to church.Do follow-ups to be sure that they will be coming to church
HOLY COMMUNION
There should be regular people who prepare it but there selected by your pastors If possible let
them provide themselves holy communion items.It is served by decons and deaconesses, pastors,
leaders especially head of deespecially.Its wise to rotate them especially pastors so that they give
one another a chance to serve.Encourage your leaders to dress formally when co!ing for services
through your pastor. Heartfelt ndeye mucheno nekurongeka!! So leaders should be representable
in ready to serve

For convenience s sake you can nominate your deputy then sort for approval from your pastors
who does your duties during your absence.
Lastly l would like to thank you for this tasks. It has reminded of the things l had not been
