CINDERELLA STORY

(DEAR)

(Kian) Once upon a time, a kind little girl lived with her wicked stepmother and two wicked
Narrator 1 stepsisters. They were very mean to her and made her do all of the work.

The prince was having a ball that evening for all the young ladies in the kingdom. He
hoped that one of them might fall in love with him and become his wife.

(anikka) I want my dress spotless for tonight’s ball, do you understand?

Stepmom

(Elise Zuri) Yes ma’am.

Cinderella

(Keisha) And ours too. Do your very best because we must look perfect to this ball. You know, the
Stepsister one you were not invited to. Hahahaha

(Elise Zuri) I’ll have them ready for all of you. I promise.
Cinderella

(Keisha) You better! If one of us isn’t chosen to be his bride, we’ll be sure to blame you.
Step sister
(Kian) When Cinderella’s stepsisters and stepmother were gone, Cinderella sighed….
Narrator 1
(Elise Zuri) Oh, How I wish I was going to going to that ball.
Cinderella

(Kian) Cinderella worked her hardest the rest of the day to make sure that three dresses were
Narrator 1 simply perfect. She delivered the gowns to them.

(Elise Zuri) Your dresses were ready for you.

Cinderella

(anikka) This will have to do.

Stepmom

(Keisha) I could have done it better, myself.

Stepsister

(anikka) Begone and go back to the basement.

Stepmom

(Elise Zuri) Yes ma’am.

Cinderella

(Kian) Cinderella went and ate what she was given for dinner. When she heard laughter and
Narrator 1 footsteps outside the kitchen, Cinderella knew that her stepmother and stepsisters were
leaving.

She went back upstairs to watch them ride into the carriage that will take them to the
castle.
Cinderella could not hold her sadness any longer.
Then Cinderella heard a strange sound.
She went downstairs and asked….

(Elise Zuri) Who’s there?

Cinderella

(Anikka) I am your Fairy Godmother. I don’t have time to explain myself as you have a ball to go
Fairy to.
godmother

(Elise Zuri) Oh, I’m not going to the ball.

Cinderella

(Anikka) Oh, yes you are, that’s why I’m here.

Fairy
Godmother

(Elise Zuri) But I don’t have anything to wear. And even if I did, how could I get there?
Cinderella

(Kian) The fairy godmother carried a small pumpkin into the yard, and Cinderella followed her.
Narrator 1 The fairy godmother waved her wand and pointed out to the pumpkin. Tadaaaa! The
pumpkin turned into a beautiful carriage.

The fairy godmother spotted mice and she waved her wand again. Tadaaaa! The mice
turned into beautiful horses. Cinderella couldn’t believe her eyes.

Next the fairy godmother turned a pair of frogs into footmen for the carriage, and another
one to drive the carriage.

(Elise Zuri) Wow, You’re Magical!

Cinderella

(Anikka) Thank you for finally noticing.

Fairy
Godmother One more thing, dear.
(Kian) And her fairy godmother waved one more time and Cinderella’s dress turned into a
Narrator 1 stunning gown.

(Elise Zuri) Whaaaaaaat! Look at my dress and the shoes.

Cinderella

(Anikka) Now run along dear before you missed the ball.
Fairy
Godmother Ooooh, I almost forgot. Leave by midnight as the spell will wear-off.

(Elise Zuri) I promise. And thank you.

Cinderella

(Elivon) Cinderella waved goodbye to her fairy godmother.

Narrator 2
When she arrived in the castle, the prince was mesmerized by her beauty.

(Prinze) Would you care to dance?

Prince

(Elivon) The two begun to dance the night away.

Narrator 2
The prince was so enchanted to Cinderella that he didn’t want to dance with anyone else.
The two of them felt like there was no one else in the world.

When the clock finally caught Cinderella’s eyes, it was almost midnight! Cinderella
remembered that the spell will soon wear-ff.

(Elise Zuri) I have to go, sorry!

Cinderella

(Prinze But I don’t even know your name.

Prince
(Elivon) Cinderella run-down the stairs of the castle, as the last stroke of midnight rang-out.
Narrator 2 Suddenly, her beautiful gown turned back into her rugged clothes and Cinderella didn’t
notice that she had lost one of her slippers on the stairs.

The next morning the prince and ordered his men to search far and wide for the girl whose
foot fit the glass slipper.

(Prinze) Search for the entire kingdom and find that girl.
Prince
(Elivon) The prince and his men went from house to house trying desperately to find the mysterious
Narrator 2 girl whom he had fallen in love with. But they couldn’t find one foot that fit the glass
slipper.

The prince and his men arrived at the very last house in the kingdom, Cinderella’s house.

The wicked stepsisters tried on the glass slipper. But it didn’t fit either of them.

(Keisha) Wait, my foot is just a bit swollen. I know it will fit me. Believe me.
Stepsister

(Prinze) No, it doesn’t fit you.

Prince

(Keisha) Give me one more chance. My foot will surely fit in this time.
Stepsister
(Prinze) I’m sorry, but it’s not yours. Are there any other ladies living in this household?
Prince
(Keisha) No, not really.
Stepsister

(Prinze) Not really? You are unsure, so there is another one. Call her and bring her now.
Prince
(Elivon) The prince smiled as Cinderella entered the room. He asked her to try on the slipper and it
Narrator 2 fit perfectly.

The prince was overjoyed! He had found his love.

(Prinze) With your family’s blessing, we shall be married in spring.

Prince

(Keisha) Please forgive me your highness, I didn’t know she attended the ball.
Stepsister

(Prinze) It’s not I that you should be asking for forgiveness.

Prince

(Keisha) We were sorry, Cinderella, please forgive us.

Stepsister
(Elivon) Not having a second thought, Cinderella graciously granted forgiveness to her stepmother
Narrator 2 and stepsisters.
(Keisha) Thank you so much Cinderella for your pure heart and kindness.
Stepsister

(Elivon) And with that, the handsome prince and beautiful Cinderella went to the royal castle, get
