Experiment 2: Conductivity device.

1- Introductions
An electrical conductivity meter (EC meter) measures the electrical conductivity in a solution.

2- Objectives
measures the electrical conductivity in a water.
3- equipment
Monitoring screen
Conductivity reader
Vessel
Samples of water

Conductivity reader Monitoring screen Vessel

4- steps
1- Place the conductivity reader inside the vessel.
2- Wait for the water to settle after placing the reader
3- Take the read for the conductivity of the water
5- Results
Distilled water = 5 μs /cm
Drink water = 266 μs /cm

Distilled water drink water

Experiment 3: Dissolved oxygen device
1- Introductions
Measure Dissolved oxygen (DO)which is the amount of oxygen that is present in water.

2- Objectives
Measure the level of dissolved oxygen in a stream or lake using a Dissolved Oxygen Probe.
