or addiction here in the Philippines?

- The latest trend in 2023 is about the addiction of using

“Methamphetamine Hydrochloride” also know as “Shabu”. It remains the
leading drug of use here in the Philippines.

2. What are non-prescribed drugs? Give me at least 3 main reasons why

people are still using or dependent on non-prescribed drugs?

- Non-prescription medications are chemicals that are consumed

without a valid medical prescription and frequently outside of a controlled
setting. They are also referred to as recreational drugs, illicit drugs, or street
drugs. The three (3) reason why people are still using it are seeking pleasure
to escape reality, they use it as a medication for their mental health issues,
and once they used it, they become addictive because of its substance.

3. Give at least three main harm reduction measures or strategies to reduce

the risk of overdose, dependence, and non-prescribed use of drugs.

1. Giving people accurate knowledge about the possible

dangers, impacts, and repercussions of using illegal drugs.

2. Ensuring the accessibility of effective therapy

alternatives for those facing substance abuse, including
rehabilitation.

in controlled environment.

4. What are your recommendations or suggestions for the young

generations who will use prescribed and non-prescribed drugs?

- Learn as much as you can about the possible hazards, adverse

effects, and repercussions of using both prescribed and illegal drugs. Your
ability to make wise choices and discern when assistance is needed will be
enhanced by this knowledge.
