I would like to thank my institution SVKM’s NMIMS School of Technology

Management and Engineering for introducing me to this Project, which gave me
the great opportunity to expose myself to the real world besides giving me a
platform to have hands-on experience to learn new technologies and apply them.

I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. MIHIR NAIK, CEO of

TECHMIHIRNAIK’S SERVICE BOX for giving me the opportunity to be a part
of their prestigious organization as an intern and letting me conduct the project
Gratitude to my industry mentor Mr. MAYANK SHARMA, for all his
cooperation and guidance.

I am deeply indebted to my mentor in-charge VIKAS KHARE Sir (ASSOCIATE

PROFESSOR, STME) for all of his feedback and support during the course of
the project, throughout its initiation and implementation.

I place a deep sense of gratitude towards my family members and my friends who
have been a constant source of inspiration to make this project executable.

I perceive this opportunity as a big milestone in my career development. I will

strive to use gained skills and knowledge in the best possible way, and I will
continue to work on their improvement, to attain desired career objectives.

 Abstract

Website Design and learning professional behaviour were the main objective of
this internship. The two months TIP program offered by Roommate aims to
enhance professional skills of interns in web development domain. The working
environment in the company provides the students with corporate exposure and
professional experience. This report takes us through all the details of website
design and development knowledge and experience gathered during this
internship period. The systems developed would develop the business of the
company. The websites should be as ready that they can immediately be hosted
live and should be better in terms of UI/UX and functionalities than the referred/
earlier version of the website.

Coding languages to be used for Frontend Development:

• HTML

• CSS

• Javascript

• JQUERY

• BOOTSTRAP

• And other languages like AngularJs, etc wherever and whenever needed.
1. Introduction

Service Box provides services ranging from verified rooms to laundry services
and food recommendations. This website is for the people who leave their home
behind to study or for jobs, roommate provides affordable and clean homes for
these people. It is a user-friendly online platform designed to dynamically
respond to various client requests providing them access to multiple facilities with
their unique credentials.

We are given multiple websites to review, modify and select from which we make
a new website resembling that website. The company has assigned Web
development Interns with the project which focuses on implementation of
techniques and software like figma, bootstrap etc in company applications. The
two months TIP program offered by Service Box aims to enhance professional
skills of interns in web development domain. The working environment in the
company provides the students with corporate exposure and professional
experience. It involves reviewing the existing websites, duplicating them and
implementation of appropriate changes that we thought after reviewing the
website to develop a user-friendly website.

 2. Conclusion
This TIP has given me an insight into the actual corporate world culture and has
bridged the gap between the life at college and the work culture at an organization.
It was overall a great experience in working a company, it gave us a brief idea
about how an organisation works and how to behave in corporate firms. Apart
from project, the meetings or seminars conducted in the organisation helped me to
gain an experience in presenting and communicating. With the gained knowledge,
I was able to work on live project and learn something new. This internship has
been an excellent and rewarding experience. I can conclude that there have been a
lot I’ve learnt from my work at Roommate Needless to say, the technical aspects
of the work I’ve done are not flawless and could be improved provided enough
time. Two main things that I’ve learned the importance of our time-management
skills and self-motivation.

The given website from which we had to take reference and make a new website.
YouTube videos and websites like w3 schools and stack overflow. Various
existing websites were referred, and their source codes were inspected to achieve
the objectives of the proposed project.
