Câu so sánh

1. So sánh hơn với tính từ/trạng từ ngắn:

S + V + (Adj/Adv) + “-er” + than

Ví dụ so sánh hơn với tính từ/trạng từ một âm tiết:
Today is hotter than yesterday.
Tom came later than Mary.

S + V + more + Adj/Adv + than

Ví dụ so sánh hơn với tính từ/trạng từ hai âm tiết:
This sofa is more comfortable than that one.
She drives more carefully than I do.

Cấu trúc câu so sánh bằng
So sánh bằng trong tiếng Anh là gì? Với cấu trúc so sánh bằng, chúng ta sử dụng trong
trường hợp muốn so sánh chủ thể này bằng chủ thể còn lại.

Cấu trúc viết lại câu so sánh bằng:

S + V + as + (adj/ adv) + as
Vd: She is as tall as I am.
This landscape is as beautiful as a picture.
This shoe is as expensive as yours.
Cấu trúc so sánh nhất với tính từ/trạng từ ngắn

S + V + the + Adj/Adv + -est

Ví dụ về so sánh nhất của trạng từ/tính từ một âm tiết:

Nam is the tallest in our class.

Anne is the youngest person in my office.
2. Cấu trúc so sánh nhất với tính từ/trạng từ dài

S + V + the + most + Adj/Adv

Ví dụ về so sánh nhất của trạng từ/tính từ hai âm tiết trở lên:

This movie is the most boring film I’ve ever watched.

She is the most beautiful person I’ve met.

Công thức chung:

• S + V + so sánh hơn + AND + so sánh hơn - càng ngày càng

• Lưu ý:
• - Tính từ ngắn +er AND Tính từ ngắn +er
• - Tính từ dài dùng More and More + tính từ
• - sử dụng khi trong bài chỉ có 1 tính từ

Ví dụ

– Sharon is when she grows up.( beautiful )

– Our embroidering skill is getting ( Good )

2.2. So sánh kép The comparative … the comparative …

Công thức chung:

• the + so sánh hơn + S + V, the + so sánh hơn + S + V - càng, càng

có nghĩa là : càng ngày càng

 vd : càng lớn hiếu càng trở nên ngu si đần độn

Lưu ý:

- So sánh hơn của tính từ hoặc trạng từ ngắn thêm đuôi -er

- So sánh hơn của tính từ hoặc tràng từ dài thêm : the More ( adj/adv ) , The More ( adj/adv)

- sử dụng khi khi trong bài cho 2 tính từ hoặc trạng từ

Vd:

- The younger you are, the faster you can learn.

→ Khi bạn càng trẻ thì bạn học càng nhanh.

- The more expensive the laptop is, the more beautiful it looks.

→ Cái máy tính xách tay mà càng đắt thì nhìn nó càng đẹp.

- The better the quality is, the more expensive it will be.
