General Introduction

The backbone of all sorts of chemical and


petrochemical processes, the Isoflo series
of pump are one of the more basic pump
types. Build in accordance ANSI B73.1M
standards, the Proflo PF series has a very
wide range of applications.

The Proflo series is designed to handle


liquids with low or high temperatures
which can be mild or corrosive and clean
or containing solid particles.

Due to adherence to the ANSI B73.1M


standard dimensions, the Proflo PF
benefits from maximum parts
interchangeability. This also allows you to
keep a minimum spare parts inventory
and use standard foundations, saving
you time, talent and money.

Available in a wide variety of metallurgy,


the Proflo PF range of pumps is suitable
for handling (petro)chemical transfers,
coal pile drainage, wastewater removal,
filter systems etc.

The Proflo series are designed to handle


liquids within a wide range of
temperatures, which can be mild or
corrosive and clean or containing particles.
Proflo pumps can also handle toxic and
flammable fluids.

Proflo pumps have a capacity up to 6000


GPM / 1364 m3h and a head up to 730 feet /
223 M. The Proflo pump series can handle
pressure up to 375 PSI / 2586 kPa and
temperatures up to 360° Fahrenheit / 180°
Celsius.

Big bore seal chamber:


Seal life is extended by;

Bearing oil cooling: Above 175 °C oil


is directly cooled by a finned coil in
which water is circulated, lowering
the bearing temperature and
reducing the quantity of cooling
water

Dynamic sealing: A repeller can be placed between the stuffing box cover
and impeller to avoid leakage during operation. This eliminates the need
for a mechanical seal and is the best solution for corrosive and slurry
application with low suction.
This also means that our product won’t me diluted. Standard Proflo series
pumps can easily be converted to dynamic sealing.
