What is Grinding?
Grinding is a process of Metal Cutting which is characterised by: - Slow material removal rate. - High surface finish. - Multiple cutting points. - Rotating tool (grinding wheel). - Finishing operation.

The grinding machine consists of a power driven grinding wheel spinning at the required speed and a bed with a fixture to guide and hold the workpiece. Grinding machines remove material from the workpiece by abrasion, which can generate substantial amounts of heat; they therefore incorporate
