1st meeting: Thur 29th Feb, 8h-9h PM on google meet.
Attending members: 5/5. We discussed the assignment topic and chose the proper topics together in this meeting. There were some disagreements about choosing a topic among education, family, and environment; however, we all agreed to pick a family topic because it is the easiest topic to find B1 newspapers and also suitable for the demands of the assignment. We also reached an agreement about the schedule of the following meeting, and we decided to organize a meeting every Tuesday morning.
2nd meeting: Tue 5th March, 9h30-10h30 AM at Banking Academy library.
Attending members: 5/5. We held our first offline meeting to unite in our view of the group plan, which led us to work together effectively. Fortunately, there was no absence, so we could discuss task strategy successfully. At first, we had voted to choose the leader, and we all decided to select Kien as the team's leader. Secondly, we all agreed that members have to find and submit their own newspapers on group chat until the weekend. Thirdly, we adjusted our schedule to settle the next meeting time, the deadline for tasks, and the roles of each member in the general assignment. We agreed to submit the word lists at the next meeting, and after that, we would share opinions of other word lists and support each other to enhance the submissions.
3rd meeting: Tue 12th March, 9h30-10h30 AM at BA library.
Attending members: 5/5. In this meeting, all members submited their word bank documents and we checked the submitions in turns to ensure the word bank be standard. The word bank documents are all quite good and it just had to be adjusted a little bit. We agreed to submit sumary of articles in the next meeting. 4th meeting: Tue 19th March, 9h45-10h45 AM at BA library. Attending members: 5/5. Every member submitted their tasks, and we checked each other's summaries in this meeting. It was pretty difficult to adjust our assignment because our writing skill levels are kind of the same. So we used some tools on the internet to help us deal with the summaries, which helped us check the grammar accuracy of each submission. We believe we are doing assignments effectively, and we will soon complete this task. We decided to submit the reflections at the next meeting. 5th meeting: Tue 26th March, 9h30-10h30 at BA librabry. Attending members: 5/5. We shared our reflection documents and checked them in turn. Basically, all members presented their reflective essays in a good way. 6th meeting: Tue 2th April, 9h30-10h30 at BA library. Attending members: 5/5. We designed our presentation slides in this meeting. We agreed about the proper background and types of letters for the slides. We decided to find and post pictures on our group chat that relate to family topics to select some suitable photos to put on our slides. 7th meeting: Tue 9th April, 9h30-10h30 at BA library. Attending members: 5/5. We together completed slides and adjusted them according to each member's opinion. 8th meeting: Tue 16th April, 9h30- 10h30 at BA library. Attending members: 5/5. We practiced presenting our articles in front of people and shared thoughts about the presentations of each member.
