Circular regarding Sports Day for classes VIII to XII

Dear Parents & Students

We cordially invite you to the Annual Sports Meet of classes VIII to XII on Monday, 6th
November 2023 from 9.00 a.m to 4.30 p.m at Mallasandra campus. Please find attached the
formal invitation and it would be our pleasure and honour if you can be a part of the
celebration.

Instructions:

Transport Arrangements:

1. VIII to X: CBM 20 to 58 route buses will ply as usual in the morning.

2. XI & XII: CBM A to H route buses will ply as usual in the morning.
3. VIII to XII: CBM 20 to 58 routes buses will be plying from 4.30 p.m onwards after
the valedictory function in the evening.
4. Parents can also pick their children up only after the valedictory function is over.

 Parents are requested to park their vehicles as guided by our security guards.
 Children have to carry their snacks and lunch if they are not buying food from the
canteen. Please ensure that the children eat well.
 Canteen facilities are available only after the inaugural function is completed.
 Kindly note that Entrepreneurship students of Class XI will be putting up their
food stalls on the Sports Day and the facilities are available only after the
inaugural function is completed.
 Please send a water bottle as we do not want the children to get dehydrated
during the day.
 Attendance is compulsory. Permission will not be granted for leave on Sports Day.
We sincerely believe that parents and children understand the importance of any
celebration in school.
 Students are not allowed to carry mobiles for any reason. If found, mobiles will be
confiscated.

Uniform

 Finalists of various events have to wear – House T Shirts / Shorts at the time of
competition.
 March-past (Inaugural & Valedictory) – Wednesday uniforms with their House T Shirts.
 School Prefects and Head Boy and Head Girl will have to wear regular school uniform.
  Class 8 and 9 students must come to school wearing the drill T-shirt and yoga pants.
They must carry their Wednesday uniforms and House T-shirts and change into the
Wednesday uniform after the inauguration.
 Girls who have shoulder length hair or more need to plait their hair.
 All students must eat their breakfast and then assemble in the High School assembly
area at 8:20 am sharp.

Children taking part in the finals of various athletic events may kindly note the
following:

 Finalists have to compulsorily wear their house t-shirts and black shorts.
 Children will not be allowed to run in their school uniform.
 Finalists have to ensure that they are adequately hydrated before the race.
