Are you interested in gaining first-hand experience in working in an academic setting? This summer, from
June to August, the research park central facilities centre – Cyber Operations and Analytics is arranging this
SRI programme where you get the opportunity to conduct research under the guidance of researchers of
Cyber Security department of IARE and from Universities from Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia
and Thailand. Cyber Operations and Analytics – SRI provide the platform to interns for development of
scalable cyber tools and delivering the analytics to help us discover and characterize cyber threats for
supporting of great societal security applications and for the industry needs.

This Summer Research Internship programme is directed toward students of B.Tech and M.Tech programs.
In your studies, there needs to be a connection to cyber issues handling. The Cyber Operations and Analytics
-Summer Research Internship Programme is an 8-10 week program that runs from June to August 2024. In
addition to research projects conducted under the guidance of Cyber Operations-connected researchers,as an
intern, you will have access to required space - on the Research Park. You will also get to participate in
events and activities such as study visits, presentations, poster sessions and article publications. In addition
to this, there will be social activities.

How to apply
Applications are made available by the head of the department of Cyber Security.

• Send the application along with student’s CV to hod-csecs@iare.ac.in. Each CV should not
bemore than 2 pages long. Please, write “Cyber Operations and Analytics SRI 2024” in the
subject of your email.

Evaluation
A decision will be taken by the Research Advisory Committee and Cyber Operations and Analytics
Executive Committee within two weeks days after the deadline.

• Call opens: 18 April, 2024
• Application deadline: 30 April, 2024
• Results will be sent out: Within two weeks after the deadline
• Expected project start: 5 June, 2024

What does the SRI offer?

The SRI events this year will be organized into an 8–10-week program that runs from June through August
2024 with a stipend up to Rs 7000/-. The events will be coordinated by Dr K Rajendra Prasad, head of the
department of CSE (Cyber Security); Dr Pala Prasad Reddy, Placement and Training Officer; Dr B Padmaja,
Dean of Career Development Centre; Dean of Career Development Centre; Dr VVS Haranadha Prasad,
Dean of Skill andKnowledge Centre; and research faculty of Cyber Operations and Analytics research centre.
