Rules

Valorant Wolvesden

General
1) You will be able to find the tournament organiser in Wolvesden Discord -
https://discord.gg/8yYZvZJ.
2) Every team will be given the opportunity to show up to their match, we require that you be
online at least 30 minutes prior to your match in order to check-in.
If you are not online and checked in at that time, we will disqualify your team.
3) Problems with disrespectful behaviour, raging, provocations or cursing will not be
tolerated. A player doing so will be automatically disqualified.
4) In order to disqualify someone the player needs to provide screenshots as proof to the
tournament managers.
5) Teams will have only 10 minutes to join the game room once it has been created. If a
team doesn’t complete 5 players in this time, the team will be disqualified.If your opponent
doesn’t show up or doesn’t start the match in under these 10 minutes, please contact tournament
admins by pressing the report match issue button on your match.
6) Players playing in the tournament agree to have their names and IGN being published in
the Wolvesden social networks.
7) Use of Alts, other users except the registered ones will result BAN from the
tournament. Main Account Only.
8) The teams can have up to 2 substitutes.
Players will only be considered team members if they are part of the team on
Challengermode before the tournament starts.
Once the tournament starts, Challengermode will not update changes in teams. Players
can only play in one team per tournament.
9) Minimum teams: 8 - if there will be less than 8 this tournament will be postponed.

Tournament Format
1) The tournament will be Double Elimination + the Grand Finals is Best of 3
2) Fights will end when a team reaches 13 points, the first team with 13 points won. No
tie breaker.
3) Grand finals are Best of Three : 3 rounds of 13 points, first team to reach two (2) win
points wins the tournament.
4) Winners of the Winner bracket (Team A) - Gets a Victory point lead and start
the Grand finals with a score of 1-0.

5) Tournament will be played online.

Register
1) Every player needs to fill their information in this form in the post or in Challengermode.
Wrong registration information can lead to disqualification

2) The bracket will appear on the playing system chosen for the tournament.

Before the game

1) Check In - Check in must be done Challengermode within the time limit.

2) Check in - Check in will begin 45 minutes before the tournament
3) Brackets will be posted on the day of the tournament.
4) The team can be in their room at the Wolvesden discord.
5) Captains will add each other before the game.
6) Enter Custom game - Tournament mode and Invite the other team. (How to create rooms
are explained at Challengermode “How to”)
7) Captains may enter the opponent Discord room (or contact them privately) in order to
start a game.
But after the game begins, players that aren’t part of the team are not allowed to enter
other team rooms.

Match Setup and Play Restrictions
Settings - choose Tournament Mode turned on.

New Agents -
New Agents will be automatically restricted for two weeks starting from their availability in
ranked queues.
Example: Agent A was released on February 5, so Agent A will become eligible to be used in
all Matches on February 19.

New Maps -
New Maps will be automatically restricted for four weeks starting from their availability in
ranked queues.
Example: Map A was released on February 5, so Map A will become eligible to be used in all
Matches on March 5.
Choose a map
Higher Seed:

The better-seeded team will be Team A.


In this example Kingdom 7 is the higher seed - Team A.

Until Grand finals:


○ Use the Challengermode Veto option.

Grand finals :
Winners of the Winner bracket (Team A) - Gets a Victory point lead and start the Grand
finals with a score of 1-0.

Advantage point clarification:


If Team A (Winner bracket) wins the first round , she keeps the advantage point and
wins with 2:0.
If Team A loses the first round - the advantage point is removed and we continue into
best of 3 and the games continue with a score of 0:1 to Team B (Losing bracket).

Picks and Bans:


Team A - Winners of Winner bracket \ Team B - Winners of Losing bracket.
○ Team A bans one map.
○ Team B bans one map.
○ Team A pick's map 1.
○ Team B picks a side for map 1.
○ Team B pick's map 2.
○ Team A picks a side for map 2.
○ Team A pick's map 3.
○ Team B picks a side for map 3.
Note: Maps cannot be reused, each battle its different map.

Server settings
Default server Location (teams can agree to another server location):
EU: Paris 1
In Game
1) If in one game a certain player receives more then 3 DC (disconnects) the game stops
and the decision moves to the tournament organizer.
2) Each team can do up to 3 pauses per game, for up to a total time: 5 minutes.
3) On every violation of the rules in this Rules Document - Contact the tournament organizer
on the spot and not after the games with proof in hand.
*Players who will overuse\abuse this - will receive a warning.

* 3 warnings is disqualification of the tournament

Timeouts and Disconnects


1. Each team is allowed one 30-second, tactical timeout per map and it can be used
during the buy phase of any round as long as there are 10 seconds left on the clock
before the round starts.

2. Technical Timeouts will only be used for Technical difficulties and Disconnects. If
someone DCs you will use the Timeout during the Buy round phase at the start of the
next round if a round has already started.
● Timeout 1: 3 minutes
● Timeout 2: 2 minutes
● Disconnects after this will be played out 4v5. If the timeout feature is used a team
captain from each team must join discord to relay the reason for the used timeout.

3. Teams that don’t arrive on time - 4v5.


The team can have an extra 5 minutes to find their registered player - if the 5th player
or a registered sub cannot play, the team will be disqualified from the match.

4. Pause at the last possible second of the “Buying Phase” - Only allowed once per
team in case there are technical difficulties.

Technical Timeouts (website)


1. Technical timeout on Challengermode.
a. If a player of your team is unable to “Ready” in a room during the tournament
this player has to contact the tournament admin with a screenshot of the
issue.
b. The message must be sent up to 1 minute before the ready timer is off.
(For example the timer reaches 1:30 minutes to ready up - the player can
send it and admins will resolve the issue. If the timer is after 0:59 - the issue
won’t be resolved)
c. If the issue is opened on time - the room will be reset and another chance to
ready up will start.
d. Second time to reset the room will not be allowed.
Sending a screenshot
1) Sending winning screens can be sent in Challengermode or to the tournament
organizers.
2) Sending screenshots of someone violating the rules will be sent in PM to tournament
organizers.

Prizes
1) Prizes will be posted on the Facebook\Discord and Tournament page.
2) One of the tournament organizers will post a winning post with his\her name and IGN
on our social media.
3) Do Not change your IGN until you’ve received the prize
4) In case you get disqualified, you will not receive any prize.

Streaming and Broadcast


1) Content Creators are free to live stream the event. They will be required to have their
streams muted during discord conversations with admins including the captains
meeting before the tournament begins. We are asking that live streams have a delay
on them of 2 minutes at least.
This will not be enforced but we will not be regulating “Stream Sniping” as you
have free will to implement a delay.

2) Valorant tournament organizers must toggle off the "show blood" and “show bodies”
setting, per Riot guidelines. This includes small, community tournaments of less than
$10k prize pool.

3) During a timeout on live broadcast the production team must switch scenes. This is
to keep competitive integrity for the sake of stream sniping and teams seeking
information by using our live broadcast to their advantage during a timeout.
