 POWER BI APPLIED TO ENGINEERING - Analysis of Consumption,
Efficiency and Emissions of Light Vehicles in Brazil

This technical report presents an application of Power BI in engineering, developed to

show how an interactive data visualization tool can be effective to provide a new data
exploration experience to the users. The analysis of consumption, emissions and efficiency
of light vehicles presented in this study allows the user to interact, selecting how the data
will be organized, filtered, grouped or summarized, in many different ways. A session on
statistical analysis is presented on the last pages.

An additional description of the steps to build the dashboard is also presented, showing
design and data visualization techniques adopted.
