‫ش‬ َ ُ‫صلَ َواتُ َه‬

َ َ ‫ّللا ت َ ْغشَى أ‬ َ

‫ب‬ َ َٔ‫س هُل اال‬

ُ ‫طا هيـ‬ ْ ‫الر‬
ُّ

‫ّللا تَ ْغشَى‬
ِ ‫صلَ َواتُ ه‬
َ
‫ـب‬ َ َٔ‫س ِل اال‬
ْ ‫طا ِي‬ ْ ‫الر‬
ُّ ‫ف‬ َ ‫أَش َْر‬
ṣalawātu Allahi taghshā
ashrafar ruslil āaṭāyib
May the blessings of Allah
shroud
the most noble of the pure
Messengers
 ‫َوتَعُ ُّم اآل َل َج ْمعا‬
ُ ُ‫َما َبدَا ن‬
‫ور الك ََوا ِك ْب‬
wa taʿummul 'āla jamʿāan
mābadā nūrul kawākib
and encompass the
prophetic family entirely
as long as the light of the
stars remains evident.

‫علَ ْينَا‬ َّ ‫أَ ْقبَـ َل ال‬

َ ‫س ْع ُد‬
ْ‫َوال َهنَا ِم ْن ُك ِل َجانِب‬
 aqbalas saʿdu ʿalaynā
wal hanā min kulli jānib
True fortune has come upon
us
along with success from all
directions
َ ‫فَلَنَا البُ ْش َرى ِب‬
‫س ْعد‬
ْ‫َجا َءنَا ِم ْن َخي ِْر َوا ِهب‬
falanāl bushrā bisaʿdin
jā’anā min khayri wa hib
For us is the ultimate glad
tidings of fortune
which has come to us from
the greatest of those who
bestow gifts.

‫َيا َج َماالً قَ ْد تَ َجلَّى‬

ِ ‫َار ْق َوال َمغ‬
ْ‫َارب‬ ِ ‫ِبال َمش‬
yā jamālāan qad tajallā
bil mashāriq wal maghārib
O how beauty has manifest
in the eastern lands and the
west.
َ ‫َم ْر َحبا ً أَ ْهالً َو‬
ً‫س ْهال‬
 ْ‫ِب َك َيا َخي َْر ال َح َبا ِيب‬
marḥabāan ahlāan wa
sahlāan
bika yā khayral ḥabāyib
Welcome to you! As family
and burdenless
O greatest of beloveds

‫َم ْر َحبا ً أَ ْهالً ِبش َْمس‬

ْ‫ت ُك َّل الغَيَا ِهـب‬ْ ‫قَ ْد َم َح‬
marḥabāan ahlāan
bishamsin
qad maḥat kullal ghayāhib
Welcome as family to a sun
that has effaced all gloom.
‫َم ْر َحبا ً أَ ْهالً ِبش َْمس‬
ْ‫ت فِي َهـا ال َك َوا ِكب‬ْ َ‫َخ ِفي‬
marḥabāan ahlāan
bishamsin
khafiyat fīhaāl kawākib
Welcome as family to a sun
in which all the stars has
receded
 ‫ص ِل لُ ْذنَا‬ْ َٔ‫يف اال‬ َ ‫َياش َِر‬
ْ‫ِب َك ِفي ُك ِل النَّ َوا ِئـب‬
yāsharīfal āaṣli ludhnā
bika fī kullin nawā'ib
O noble of origins, we have
taken refuge
in you for all calamaties.
‫عاص‬ َ ‫ت َم ْل َجا ُك ِل‬ َ ‫أَ ْن‬
ْ‫ت َمأ ْ َوى ُك ِل تَا ِئب‬ َ ‫أَ ْن‬
anta maljā kulli ʿāṣin
anta māwā kulli tā'ib
You are the refuge of all
sinners
 You are the shelter for all
the penitent.

‫صيل‬ ِ َ ‫صل أ‬ ْ َ‫ت ِم ْن أ‬َ ْ‫ِجئ‬

ْ‫َح َّل فِي أَ ْعلَى الذَّ َوائِب‬
jii'ta min aṣlin aṣīlin
ḥalla fī aʿlādh dhawā'ib
You have come from the
most established of roots
that could ever have
descended upon the heads
‫صي َولُ َؤي‬ َ ُ‫ِمــن ق‬
 ْ‫ِخ ال َم ْج ِد اب ِْن غَا ِلب‬
ِ ‫َباذ‬
min quṣayyin wa luayyin
bādhikhil majdi ābni ghālib
from Quṣayy and Lu'ayy,
lofty in majesty, the son of
Ghālib.

ً ‫َوا ْعتَلَى َم ْجد َُك فَ ْخرا‬

ْ‫ت ال َم َرا ِتب‬
ِ ‫ِفي َر ِفي َعا‬
wa ʿtalā majduka fakhrāan
fī rafīʿātil marātib
You majesty is exalted in
honor
in the most elevated of
ranks.
‫س ُرور‬ ُ ‫َال بَ ِر ْحنَا فِي‬
ْ‫عا ِلي ال َمنَاقِب‬
َ ‫ِب َك َيا‬
lā bariḥnā fī surūrin
bika yā ʿālīl manāqib
We remain in total joy
for you, O Possessor of
lofty traits.
 ْ ‫فَلَ َك ْم َي ْو َم ُو ُجود‬
‫ِك‬
ْ‫ع َجا ِئب‬َ ‫ت ِفينَـا‬ ْ ‫ظ َه َر‬َ
falakam yawma wujūdik
ẓaharat fīnaā ʿajā'ib
So how much has the day
you came to existence
manifest for us great
wonders.
َ ‫ش َرتْنَا ِبال َع‬
‫طا َيا‬ َّ ‫َب‬
َّ ‫َواأل َ َما ِني‬
ْ‫والرغَا ِيب‬
bashsharatnā bil ʿaṭāyā
wal amānī wālrraghāyib
It brought glad tidings of
Divine gifts,
matters of hope, and lofty
pursuits.

َ ‫قَ ْد ش َِر ْبنَا ِم ْن‬

‫صفَانَا‬
ْ‫َارب‬ِ ‫أحلَى ال َمش‬
ْ ‫ِب َك ِم ْن‬
qad sharibnā min ṣafānā
bika min aḥlāl mashārib
We have drinken - due to
our purity
in you - of the sweetest of
drinks.
 ً ‫ب ال َح ْم ُد َح ْمدا‬ِ ‫فَ ِل َر‬
ْ‫صي ِه َحا ِسب‬ ِ ‫َج َّل أَ ْن يُ ْح‬
falirabbil ḥamdu ḥamdāan
jalla an yuḥṣīhi ḥāsib
So only for the Lord is all
praise
such that no reckoner could
every enumerate.

‫علَى َما‬ َ ‫ش ْك ُر‬

ُ ‫َولَهُ ال‬
ْ‫قَ ْد َح َبانَا ِم ْن َم َوا ِهب‬
wa lahush shukru ʿalā mā
 qad ḥabānā min mawāhib
And for Him is all gratitude
for
all the Divine gifts He
bestowed.
ً ‫َيا َك ِريما ً َيا َر ِحيما‬
َ ‫ع ِج ْل ِبال َم‬
ْ‫طا ِلب‬ َ ‫ُج ْد َو‬
yā karīmāan yā raḥīmāan
jud wa ʿajjil bil maṭālib
O Generous! O Mericiful!
Grant out of Your generosity
and hasten for us the
fulfillment of all goals.
 ‫َمن تَ َو َّج ْه ن َْح َو َبا ِب ْك‬
ْ‫اك خَا ِئب‬ َ َ‫َما َر َج ْع ِم ْن ذ‬
man tawajjah naḥwa bābik
mā rajaʿ min dhāka khā'ib
Whoever turns towards
Your door,
never returns therefrom
disappointed.
‫عبْد‬َ ‫ب‬ َ ‫َوا ْغ ِف ِرا ْغ ِف ْر ذَ ْن‬
ْ‫قَ ْد أَتَى ن َْح َو َك تَائِب‬
wa ghfiriāghfir dhanba
ʿabdin
 qad atā naḥwaka tā'ib
Forgive, forgive the sins of
a slave
who has come towards You
in repentance.
