Dear Sir/Madam

This is ABC and I am writing this letter to introduce myself as I am applying for the
position of “Communications Coordinator” at Shade Tree Foundation, Thailand. I first
graduated from Technological University of Mandalay, Myanmar, with the degree “Bachelor of
Engineering in Information Technology” in 2014. I also got a post graduate diploma majoring in
“International Relations” from Mandalay University, Myanmar. After that, I left Myanmar to
grab a chance of studying in Japan, earning a master degree “Master of arts in Global Studies”
from Sophia University, Japan in 2021. Before my master degree, I studied Japanese Language
and Culture at Human Academy Japanese Language School for almost 2 years while staying in
Japan.

Since from my university days back in Myanmar, I have always actively participated in
Social Works. From sharing about personal hygiene and mental awareness with children, to
volunteering as story teller in schools, I met with a lot of children and got a chance to listen to
their stories. Together with Save the Children Foundation, I travelled to so many of under-
developed villages and cities to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS and malaria. I also published
some poems in search of funding to support children for their school stationary, soap and
medicine. On the other hand, I was also a member of Youth Group called “HERO” and the group
mostly put strong focus on helping children with their developments in terms of both physical
and mental issues. To sum up, my graduation project for my master degree was about “Child
labor Issues & Rights to Education” concerning what has been going with this issue in my
country, Myanmar. So, as being pushed by those activities that I have accomplished, I am really
keen to work at Shade Tree Foundation and help those immigrants to overcome their fears and
exhaustions.

I strongly believe that I have my passion and required experiences to get on well with
the position you are looking for and I can’t wait to prove that your decision to hire me won’t be
