Further to our previous communication, we are happy to advise the arrangements are finalized for
students representing Tanglin Trust School in the Harrow International 7’S tournament.

The arrangements below have been made by the school for the students involved:
SCOOT
Students will meet staff at Changi Airport on Thursday 16 March at 6:30am, Terminal 1, Row 5 for
their departure flight to Bangkok.
To travel, Senior students are expected to wear the Tanglin training shirt (red) with comfortable
smart-casual trousers for the journey. At the tournament, this training shirt will/can be worn as an
additional playing kit.
Accommodation
The tournament website has not been updated yet, however, we are pleased to now share the
Layout of the tournament and the schedule of fixtures for each team: Tournament Schedules.

As your child will be representing Tanglin at an international competition, they are eligible to receive
a Foundation Representative Award of $60 funded by donations to the Tanglin Foundation.
Representative Awards are an initiative of the Tanglin Foundation to provide a pool of funds to
subsidise the costs of overseas travel for students representing Tanglin at international competitions
and enrich the lives of Tanglin students. More information about the TTS Foundation can be found

Should you wish to accept this award, as the deposit of $800 has already been paid, please can we
request the balance payment of $440 by Friday 10 March.
Should you choose to not accept this TTS Foundation Representative Award and cover the full cost of
attending the competition, then the balance to pay is $500. The funds unutilized by you will be used
for other Foundation projects.
Payment can be made by electronic bank transfer or PayNow and details can be found at the

Please enter your child’s name and the trip name when making electronic payments.
Payment is non-refundable unless cancellation is due to your child’s medical condition and supported with
a doctors’ medical certificate. All bank charges will be borne by parents.

Medical Information
Parents are responsible for ensuring the most up to date medical information is held by school and to
advise the school Health Centers of any updates. If your child’s medical situation changes in the lead
up to the event, please notify the Senior Health Centre immediately and no later than 2 days before
travel.
Students are not permitted to self-medicate. All medication must be brought into school 2 days
before the trip leaves and passed to the Health Centre, with clear instructions using the Permission
to Give Medication Form.
Duty Manager
The Duty Manager’s number for the trip is (+65) 82188665. This should only be used in cases of
emergency. The Duty Manager will send a message advising of the group arrival in Bangkok and a
message advising of the group return on Sunday. All students should be collected from Changi
Airport on Sunday unless advised otherwise.
Please complete the following reply slip and return it together with your payment details and
passport to the Co-Curriculum Office, c/o Sangeeta Patel by Friday 10 March. The reply slip can be
sent via email to sporttrips@tts.edu.sg

• Passports must have 6 months validity from the date of travel to be accepted.
• Students must also have a valid re-entry permit into Singapore.
We have read and understand the Sports Code of Conduct for athletes and parents.
I have contacted the school Health Centre with all relevant medical updates for my child.
I understand my child’s details will be shared with the host school for tournament purposes.
I give permission for my child to take part in the above competition and understand photography and
videography of my child may be used for school social media updates and celebration. If you wish for
your child’s image not to be used, please advise us on sporttrips@tts.edu.sg.
