Case description

Final drive can't rotate Machine Name plate

Symptom

Final drive all gear stages are good.

Final drive can't rotate.

Reason
Machine Photo
After we finished the Final Drive assembly process, we tested run the Final Drive with testing machine, we found it can't
rotate. So we checked assembly process photos and checked counter balance spool and head accessories.We found all
accessories are normal and good.We already checked break piston and friction plate are right. So we think about gear side.
We found first sun gear is a little high.But it has no any spacer between gear stage.So we checked shaft ball and spacer. We
found spacer assembly false.

Action

We have no workshop manual. But we should take care all assembly process. When we disassembly the Final drive, We
should take all step with evidence photos.
Firstly we disassembly motor side and shaft removed.We found spacer is placed in gear side. It should be motor side. If the
spacer is gear side, shaft is extend toward gear side with coupling and sun gear. So we changed spacer to motor side and re-
assembly the final drive. And then we found first sun gear is lower than before. So we tested run the Final Drive .It can
rotate. Job was finished.

Suggestion

If we have not manual, we should base on disassembly evidence photos and take help from broswer, outsource or experient
person.
