RESOLUTION NO. 01
Series of 2020

APPROVING AND RESPECTFULLY ENDORSING TO THE MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT

COUNCIL (MDC) THE REPROGRAMMING OF THE UNEXPENDED BALANCE IN THE 2020
ANNUAL BUDGET ALLOCATED FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES TO BE USED FOR THE
HEREIN MENTIONED COVID-19 ACTIVITIES AND AS AUGMENTATION FUND TO
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR THOUSAND
AND FIVE HUNDRED (P354,500.00).

WHEREAS, under Section 4 (q) of the Republic Act No. 11494, the Local Chief
Executives are authorized to realign their respective local funds including but not
limited to, their Development Fund, Gender and Development Fund, Sangguniang
Kabataan, Special Education Fund (SEF), and other Local Funds, including unutilized or
unreleased subsidies and transfers in order to address the COVID-19 pandemic.

WHEREAS, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it is necessary to give more

importance to the prevention, control, and management of the COVID-19 disease to
protect and save the lives of our people especially the Persons with Disabilities;

WHEREAS, Persons with Disabilities and their families had been affected by the loss
of job, fare hike, and increase of prices of food commodities so they need financial
assistance to meet the effect of Covid-19 Pandemic.

WHEREAS, the Municipal Council for Persons with Disabilities of Mambusao, Capiz,
has decided to approve and endorse the reprogramming of the allocation in the 2020
Annual Budget as follows:

NOW THEREFORE, upon the motion of Lucille C. Garcia, Person with Disability
Action Officer and duly seconded by Veronica D. Martinez, MSWDO and all the
members of the Municipal Council for the Persons with Disabilities present;
 BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED to approve and respectfully endorse to
the Municipal Development Council (MDC) the reprogramming of the unexpended
balance in the 2020 Annual Budget allocated for Persons with Disabilities to be used for
the COVID-19 activities mentioned above and as augmentation fund to Financial
Assistance to PWDs in the amount of Three Hundred Fifty-Four Thousand and Five
Hundred (P354,500.00).

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy/copies of this resolution be forwarded to the

Municipal Development Council and the Municipal Mayor of Mambusao for their
information and appropriation action.

THE AMOUNT OF SIX HUNDRED FOURTY FOUR THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FIVE
PESOS AND SIXTY FOUR CENTAVOS (P644,805.64) AND CONTINGENCY FUND TO BE
USED IN THE DISTRIBUTION OF ASSISTIVE DEVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTEEN
THOUSAND PESOS (P15,000.00).

the Municipal Development Council (MDC) the reprogramming of the unexpended
balance in the 2021 Annual Budget allocated for Persons with Disabilities to be used for
