Here we consider that the 75KN and 100KN force will compress the members and there will be
assumed deflection (shown in ii) whereas the FD will try to compress and keep it in its place (As
shown in iii).

After finding the FD and FC we can proceed towards the Free body diagram for each segment as
shown in the figure below. Based on the force, we can calculate the normal stress in each segment.

The normal stress in all three segments have been found out based on the forces found out in the
FBD.
