TRAVEL REPORT
Training: Local Poverty Reduction Action Plan (LPRAP) Formulation Workshop

I. Highlights of the Activity

The 3-day training started with an orientation on the Salient Features of Republic Act No. 11291:
Magna Carta of the Poor. The orientation started with the presentation of rationalized planning
system, the overview of LPRAP Formulation Guidelines, the Organization of Local Poverty
Reduction Action Committee and the different steps in the Formulation of Local Poverty
Reduction Action Plan (LPRAP) which consist of the following: Step 1- Revisiting existing plans
and review of LGU vision, Step 2- Poverty profiling and situational analysis, Step 3-Goal
Formulation & Anti-Poverty related PPA identification and prioritization. After determining the
different steps, next is situating LPRAP in CDP as well as aligning the LPRAP in PDPFP. The last
two days was devoted for crafting the Municipality’s LPRAP as well as reporting of each
departments’ output for enhancement purposes.

III. Plan of Actions for Knowledge Sharing: Finalize the output to be consolidated in the Planning
Office and to be submitted to the NAPC google link for their information and appropriate action.

IV. Recommendations:
Integrate all possible programs, projects and activities pertaining to the poverty alleviation in our
respective locality. Continues conduct of updating on data in order to identify the gaps that need to
be addressed and regularly conduct monitoring and evaluation on the implementation of plans and
programs in order to make improvements and possible adjustments as needed.
