Seeking in silence, My journey to Inner Peace

My journey in silence was too loud,

Away from the world, noise and crowd.
But even in this dark quiet place,
There is thought and pain I couldn't face.

But then I reached out to a friend,

Whom I had foolishly left behind,
And as our conversations starts to blend,
I cried for I finally found my peace of mind.

For in silence, I made my choice,

And with my friends, I found my voice.
Voice let go of the pain I hold with a knife,
And try to embrace the beauty of my life.

I began to learn that true peace,

Comes from within my soul,
And that my thoughts will cease,
When I'm with those who make me whole.

Now I walk with grace and ease,

For I finally found my lost inner peace.
Though our journey would be quite long,
We could always learn to sing a different song.

A song of love and hope and light,

A song that would fill our heart with delight,
For in the end, we'd found our way,
To a peaceful life and a brighter day.
