Introduction

• Pipe fittings are components used to connect pipe segments with

other fluid control products such as valves and pumps to create
pipelines.
• Pipe fittings are components used to connect pipe segments with

pipelines.
• Different pipe fittings serve different functions as per layout or
process requirements.

• Effect on water quality

• Internal water pressure
• Cost, service life and maintenance needs
• For metallic pipes, internal and external corrosion

Based on materials
• Stainless steel
– Stainless steel pipes are primarily used in piping systems for the transportation of
liquids or gases.
– We manufacture steel pipes from a steel alloy that contains nickel as well as chromium,
which gives stainless steel its corrosion resistant properties.
• Copper pipes
– Copper pipes are widely used in the construction industry for water supply lines and
refrigerant lines in HVAC (heating, cooling and air conditioning) systems.
– Copper pipe can be manufactured as soft or hard copper and offers excellent corrosion-
resistance and reliable connections.
• PVC
– Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is one of the most widely used polymers in the world.
– Due to its versatile nature, PVC is widely used across a wide range of industrial,
technical and everyday applications, including extensive use in buildings,
transportation, packaging, electrical/electronics and healthcare applications.

• Elbows • Tee
– Used to change the angle or direction – Pipe tee is used for distributing or
of the pipe run. collecting the fluid from the run pipe.
– The most common elbows come in 90 It is a short piece of pipe with a 90-
degree and 45 degree turns. degree branch at center.

– Cross fittings are generally used for
fire sprinkler systems.
