PERFORMANCE TASK: MOTION CONCEPTS

Learners will create music jingle that demonstrates their creativity to depict what is
considered to be quintessential value of the Newton’s Laws of Motion and Circular Motion
concepts that made a significant impact in society and helped man’s understanding of motion.
The music jingle must manifest the following characteristics:

Concepts/Content Accuracy: Concepts were evident throughout; all terms were used
accurately. (5 points)

Organization and Mechanics: Well prepared and without any mechanical errors; the overall
presentation was effective. (5 points)

Creativity and Audience Appeal: Interesting, engaging, visually stimulating; aesthetically

appealing use of props, colors, graphics, language and humor. (5 points)

Relevance: Established a clear purpose that is very relevant to the goal and demonstrated a
clear understanding of the topic. (5 points)
