Insiyah has learned a range of new vocabulary around specific topics for and describing objects
and events. Insiyah can use her phonics knowledge to spell and write simple words such as car,
far, man, and cat. Insiyah can recognize and write upper and lower case letters. Insiyah can blend
sounds to read short words made-up of known sounds-letter correspondence.

Numbers
Insiya demonstrates strong counting skills and developing solid foundation in counting skills,
accurately counting objects up to 50. She is developing in understanding basic mathematical
concepts such as more and less. She understands the concept of one-to-one correspondence and
is developing an understanding of measurement and comparison, such as comparing the length
and size of objects. She enjoys hands-on activities involving measurement and is beginning to
understand addition and subtraction concepts, such as combining and taking away numbers. She
can identify and name basic shapes such as circles, squares, and triangles and is developing an
interest in shapes and patterns . She is starting to recognize and create simple patterns. Insiya
enjoys hands-on learning with counting blocks and other tools.

Practical Life
Insiyah can manage her own toileting and basic hygiene needs independently. She washes her
hand before snack, and after toilet use.

Knowledge of World
Insiyah demonstrates an understanding of her family. She is aware of her community and the
roles of different community helpers. She actively discusses it and demonstrates an
understanding of basic concepts like community helpers. She is curious about the world around
her, showing curiosity about different animals and their habitats, expresses an appreciation of
nature, and enjoys outdoor activities. Insiyah expresses basic concepts related to time, such as
days of the week and months of the year and is beginning to understand the concept of seasons
and changes in weather.

Music
Insiyah demonstrates good listening skills during music class. She follows simple instructions
related to music and responds. She has developed a sense of rhythm and enjoys participating in
rhythmic activities, including singing and movement. She has developed a sense of rhythm and
beat, demonstrating an ability to clap and move in time with the music. She is still learning to
experiment with different musical instruments, exploring sound, and creating simple rhythms.
She participates in group singing and enjoys music as a social activity.

Art and Craft


Insiyah enjoys working with peers on art projects and is open to sharing ideas. She has made
significant progress in developing fine motor skills through arts and crafts activities. She enjoys
painting, drawing, and exploring different textures, experimenting with colors and shapes. She
has a growing understanding of basic art concepts. She accomplishes her art activities with
minimum help and is becoming more independent in selecting materials. She is developing an
appreciation for different art techniques and styles.

Insiyah can cooperate in class and work together with other classmates. She has self-discipline
and gets her work done.
