Development of paper over time

ANCIENT PERIOD
As early as 3000 B.C., Egyptians
had developed paper from the
pith of the papyrus plant. Used for
documentation of information.

MIDDLE AGES
Paper money was used starting from the
11th century. The reason for the usage of
paper money back then was to reduce
the amount of precious metal that
needed to be carried around.

MODERN AGES
At present, papers are made through machines.
It has many changes in features such as size,
color, texture, and durability. Papers expand its
use from documentation to packing,
media, sanitation, printing, arts, etc.
