1. Description:

Fan Material A36 Steel

Speed – RPM 990 RPM

Specific Gravity 43kg

2. Condition of Fan before repairing:

- The Fan Cooler was cracked.
- The Fan Cooler is damaged.

3. Scope of Works:
Transportation the LP/MP Motor Cooler Fan from Idemitsu warehouse to AMI workshop for
repair service.
- Cleaning the cooler fan.
- Cutting the crack blades.
- Design and fabricate new blades.
- Install new blades by welding.
- NDT check by using MT method for all welding and fan surface.
- Dynamic balancing.
 - Fainting for fan surface, including 3 layers (a coat of prime and 2 KSC 101-light grey
layers with 2TP paint.).
- Document: Fainal repair, balancing report to be provided after completion.

4. Repair Service.
- Clean the cooler fan and material test of Cooler Fan with result steel A36 (attached files).
- Cutting the crack blades and fabricate new blades, new housing..
- Installed the new blades and new housing by welding at process WPS (attached files).

- Proceed NDT check by using MT method for all welding and fan surface (attached files).

- Dynamic balancing of the cooler fan (attached files).

- Fainting the cooler fan, including 3 layers (a coat of prime and 2 KSC 101-light grey
layers with 2TP paint.).

Note: After dynamica balancing the cooler fan, all bolts and nuts are firmly welded to prevent
looseness during operation.
